The Roush Axle-Back Mustang Exhaust Kit with Round Tips, designed for the 2011-2014 Mustang GT and 2011-2012 Mustang GT500, represents an innovative exhaust system from Roush. The round tips are crafted from high-quality 304 stainless steel and undergo a chrome flashing process, featuring the Roush logo embossed at the end. Traditional chrome plating relies on bonded chemicals for its shine, making it susceptible to cracking and flaking, especially under high temperatures. In contrast, the chrome flashing method used here is micro-porous and securely bonded to the metal surface, rendering it resistant to cracking due to localized damage. Additionally, this chroming technique resists heat-induced color changes.
