Modified Muscle is an enthusiast-driven platform designed to help Mustang owners buy and sell tastefully modified, well-maintained vehicles and high-quality used performance parts. Our process removes the noise, low-effort buyers, and misinformation common in traditional online marketplaces by pairing real Mustang expertise with targeted buyer reach.
Our Curated Vehicle Sales program is built for owners of tastefully modified, well-maintained Mustangs who want accurate representation, realistic pricing, and serious buyers.
How The Curated Vehicle Sales Process Works
1. Submit Your Vehicle for Review
There is no cost to apply. Sellers provide vehicle details including model, year, mileage, modifications, condition, and expectations.
2. Vehicle Evaluation and Approval
We review each submission to ensure the car aligns with our standards for quality, maintenance, and modification. Not all vehicles are accepted.
2a. What Kind Of Vehicles We Select
Modified Muscle focuses on enthusiast-owned Mustangs that have been thoughtfully and tastefully modified, properly maintained, and realistically priced.
We look for vehicles that typically include:
- Reputable aftermarket parts and brands
- Clean, complete builds with a clear purpose (street, track, show, or a blend)
- Consistent maintenance history and honest condition representation
- Sensible modifications that enhance performance, drivability, or aesthetics
Cars that are generally not a fit include:
- Incomplete or unfinished projects
- Poorly documented or questionable modifications
- Unrealistic pricing expectations
- Heavily neglected or misrepresented vehicles
Being selective protects both sellers and buyers and ensures every car we feature reflects the Modified Muscle standard.

3. Pricing and Listing Alignment
Before listing, we align on a realistic pricing range, listing duration, and expectations.
4. Marketplace Promotion
Approved vehicles are featured on Facebook Marketplace and selectively shared within Mustang-focused enthusiast groups.
5. Buyer Screening and Inquiry Management
We handle questions, comments, and inquiries, filtering out tire kickers.
6. Buyer Introduction
Serious buyers are introduced directly to the seller to complete the transaction.
7. Success-Based Pricing
If the vehicle sells to a buyer introduced by Modified Muscle, a 3% success fee applies. That amount will be invoiced to the seller post transaction.
Once the listing goes live, a one-time $250 listing commitment covers marketing and buyer screening. If the vehicle sells, that amount is credited toward the final success fee.
Sellers Can Expect
- Limited number of curated vehicle listings accepted per month
- 30 day active listing period
- Focus on enthusiast-owned, tastefully modified, and well-maintained Mustangs
Why Sell Your Vehicle Through Modified Muscle Marketplace
Selling a modified Mustang is different than selling a stock car, and it should be treated that way.
Modified Muscle Marketplace is built for enthusiast-owned, tastefully modified, and well-maintained Mustangs that deserve accurate representation and serious buyers. Instead of being buried in generic listings or undervalued, your car is presented by someone who understands the build.
We help by:
-
Positioning your vehicle correctly in the market
-
Placing it in front of active Mustang buyers
-
Filtering low-effort inquiries
Our selective approach benefits both sellers and buyers by creating a more informed, engaged audience.
If you have built a Mustang with intention and care, Modified Muscle Marketplace helps ensure it is sold the right way.

Selling used performance parts should not feel like a full-time job. Modified Muscle helps enthusiasts sell high-quality, used Mustang performance parts by placing them in front of knowledgeable buyers and filtering out low-effort inquiries, unrealistic offers, and wasted time.
This service is designed for sellers who value proper representation and want serious buyers without the typical Facebook Marketplace chaos.
